This Privacy Policy describes how Worked Up ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Worked Up mobile application (the "App").

We only collect the minimum amount of personal information necessary to provide you with the services of the App.

When you create an account, you provide us with:

• Username: Used for identifying your account and for in-app interaction.

• Password: Used for securing and accessing your account. Your password is not visible to us; it is stored securely using industry-standard hashing and encryption techniques.

 

Content You Create:

 

The App is designed for you to create and manage your own content. This content includes (but may not be limited to) posts, images and comments on other posts.

 

2. How We Use Your Information

 

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the App: Including managing your account and providing access to the App's features.

• Account Security: To verify your identity through a username only, and protect your account from unauthorized access.

• Internal Operations: For troubleshooting, data analysis, and improving the App's functionality.

 

3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

 

We are committed to the principle that your private content remains private.

• Content within the App: Your content (posts, images, comments etc.) is stored within the App and is NOT shared, sold, or disclosed outside of the App. It is only accessible to you when you are logged into the app. your account.

• Service Providers: We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our App ("Service Providers"), such as hosting providers. These third parties have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of [Your Company Name/Developer Name], (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the App or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.

• Password Security: As noted, your password is never stored in a way that is visible to us. It is protected by one-way hashing and salting, meaning no administrator or employee can view your original password.

However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

 

5. Children's Privacy

 

The App is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page within the App or on the Google Play Store listing and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
